[Opinions] Re: WDYTO our choosen names for our twins?

The only major complaints I have are:
Taryn is made up and childish. It's just a stick-a-random-syllable-in-front-of-lyn-for-a-wonderful-name name. Laney is spelt incorrectly and is childish. Bethany seems insubstanial to me. Landon is a (rather ugly) surname.
Your meanings are totally messed up.
Landon: from a SURNAME that means "long hill (ridge)"
Xavier: the new house
Taryn: elaborated form (polite for 'it's made up and crappy') of Tara, and anglicized form of Teamhair, which POSSIBLY means 'elevated place' in Gaelic
Laney: not in the database; made up. I assume it's a form of Helena/Elaine/Lani (Hawaiian)/Elena/Helen, etc.
Bethany: 'house of figs' (lovely)
Joy: joy
Alexander: roughly, 'defending men'
Noah: roughly, 'rest, comfort'
