[Opinions] Finn / Aisling
I love Finnéadan for a girl. It's a traditional Gaelic name -- pronounced finn-AY-din -- meaning "fair brow". (I don't know of any anglicised spellings, but I don't feel its spelling is too bad compared with some original Gaelic names). It has the nickname potential of Finn, which I've always liked but considered too short for a full first name. WDYTO these combos?Finnéadan Sasha
Finnéadan Skye, after the island
Finnéadan Bethany (too long?)
Finnéadan Bethanie (Unsure of spelling, but I think I prefer the "ie" for a fn and the "y" for a mn)
Finnéadan Arielle (again, too long perhaps unless with a short surname)
Finnéadan Belle
Finnéadan Arianne
Finnéadan Chloë (I only like Chloë spelled with the diaeresis, but I'm not fond of having multiple accents in one combo, given we're not used to them in English and even one accent is unusual)
And also, unrelated -- to save board space: WDYTO of the combo Aisling Anastasia (ASH-ling, ann-a-STAY-zha) for a girl?_____________________________________________________________________"There are few more distressing sights than that

I think I like Finnéadan Sasha and Finnéadan Skye best. The others seem a bit too long, particularly Finnéadan Arianne, and I think that the name sounds really nice with middle names that start with S. Finnéadan is really pretty, though I don't think I have enough Irish or Scottish heritage to dare use it. :)Aisling Anastasia sounds nice together. I don't really like Aisling, but it's not bad at all, and I like Anastasia much better when it's pronunced a-na-STAS-ee-a--but the name flows, and it's certainly not horrible.Array

I think Finnéadan Skye is definitely the best combo. Aisling Anastasia is a bit of a tongue-twister but it's okay.Shannon

I think Skye is the best mn, I think nn Finn sounds too much like a boys name, I think Finny, Finna or Finné are more girl-like nn. I love the mn Chloë too, and accents don't bother me much, but then again Chloë is the most common way to spel Chloe were I'm from.Aisling Anastasia is a beautiful name :)I think if I saw the names Finnéadan and Aisling I would pronounce them both in the wrong way...

I like Finneadan Skye, Finneadan Belle and Finneadan Chloe.
Aisling Anastasia looks like it has far too many 'a's in it, but it sounds pretty nice!
