WDYTOT name Kalea? I'm beginning to like it and I much prefer it to the other spellings. Do you think it's better than what seem to be "trendy" spellings?

Kalea isn't pronounced like KAY-lee. Here's a site that explains how it would be pronounced: http://www.alohafriendsluau.com/names.html.
That said, I think it'd be good for a Hawaiian girl. But for a non-Hawaiian girl, it could lead to confusion.

I didn't know it was Hawaiian. I know several girls named Kalea prn like Kaylee. I was thinking about it because Lea is a family name and I don't want to use it as a middle name. Thanks for the information!
