I love Silvester, although I would spell it Sylvester. I also love the feminine form Sylvestra. I can see a Silvester / Sylvester just fine in amongst today's smorgasbord (sp?) of names.
Sullivan is OK if it's in your family tree and you want to honor it. Otherwise it's just part of the (to me) annoying, anybody else's heritage approach to naming a child.
Dominick and Dominic are both great. So is Broderick and Roderick, by the way.
