[Games] Re: Think/Say!
in reply to a message by Julia
This is my daughter, Adriana Sofia. (Adriana is said ah-dree-ah-nah, like Audrey-ana)
Say: How feminine!
Think: I love the names individually, but hate when first & mns both end with the same vowel sound. This is my son, Ian Alexander.
Say: That's such a great name!
Think: DittoThis is my daughter, Olivia Simone.
Say: How pretty.
Think: I love Simone, but Olivia is getting over-used.This is my son, Nathaniel William. We call him Nathan.
Say: So classic.
Think: That's such a long combo. Why not Nathan William? This is my daughter, Charlotte Amelia.
Say: Charlotte is a gorgeous name.
Think: I hate Amelia. Good thing it's her mn & no one will have to know when she gets older. This is my son, William James. We call him Liam.
Say: Ohhh, I love the name Liam! And what a masculine combo.
Think: Why didn't I use Liam? Oh, yeah, b/c DH hates it.These are my twin daughters, Emmeline Hope [Emmeline is said EH-meh-line) and Sophia Rachel.
Say: What gorgeous, old-fashioned names!
Think: Emmeline is a nice change from Emily, but Sophia is a bit to popular for my taste. This is my son, Jacob Oliver.
Say: Does he go by Jake?
Think: I love the names Jake & Oliver. Jacob is ok.This is my daughter, Noelle Tatiana. (Tatiana is said tah-tee-AH-nah)
Say: Hi, Noelle.
Think: I love the names, but they don't flow well. This is my son, Joseph Henry. We call him Joey.
Say: Is he named after family?
Think: I like the names individually, but together, they don't have much sparkle. Then again, maybe she doesn't want her boy to "sparkle!" :o)This is my daughter, Emilia Rose. (Emilia is said eh-mih-LEE-uh)
Say: I've only met one other Emilia. It's such a nice name.
Think: But the combo is boring. This is my daughter, Anneliese Natalia.
Say: I had a room mate named Anneliese. She was such a sweetie.
Think: That's a gorgeous (if slightly long) combo.
