Message: "Rémi & Jesse ?" - Behind the Name

Recently I remembered that when I was 8 years old, I decided my first son would be named Rémi (I spoke French so this wasn't out of nowhere, lol). Now chances are I won't be living in France whenever I have a kid, so I'd drop the accent and pronounce it like Remmy rather than reh-MEE, which I still like plenty. Combo ideas? Right this minute, I like Remi Carlos, but I like Carlos with just about anything.

I've also fallen in love all over again with Jesse. It has a very similar sound to Remi, maybe that's why. Anyhow, what do you think?

I love, love, love both names! Except I prefer the spelling Remy. Here are some combo ideas for both names:

I'm not a fan of Jesse. Just seems very dated to me -- I think because I think of Uncle Jesse from the TV show Full House and that annoying song "Jesse's Girl".

Remi is handsome. Remi Etienne springs to mind immediately, but it might be too much. :)
