First of all I have to say that Maika looks just like my last name with one letter missing :-) As for the spelling I'd try Micah.
And I think Jack is such a well-known name that you won't have any problem with the pronounciation.

But Jack isn't the common way of saying it where she lives! There may be some problems at first but eventually people would get used to it. Maybe a mn?

People in my area normally would pronounce it the same way as she said (yack). But since it is common in US TV-shows and so on most people are aware of the English pronouciation. Since I'm not Swedish I don't know if it's the same there.
