What do you think of the name Nora?

I find it quite ugly personally.
love, also sp. Norah, or as a nn for Eleanor.
I love it, on its own or as a nn to Eleanor. It's simple, classy, and absolutely beautiful.
Wow -what great feedback. I'm post again to see what you think of it with my other dc's name and up against the current fore-runner. :)
I absolutely love it.
Hmm...:-)
I really like this name, and prefer ending it with an 'a' than an 'h.'

I think it's just lovely. It's very strong, cool, and elegant, but also very pretty and feminine. I also like Norah.
It's totally fab...
And totally mine! So no one else can use it! Mwhahahaha.
(That's the cold medicine talking, I swear.)
It's pretty well known that we are planning on naming this sweet babe Elanor nn Nora... so of course it is my favourite name. We think it's is perfect. Feminine, but not frilly. Intelligent, but not nerdy. Strong, but not domineering. Classy, but not pretentious. And it sounds just as good on a four year old with dandelions in her hair as it does on a supreme court justice. All in all - yeap, perfect.
Not that you asked, but we are pairing it with Cara - my beloved sister's MN.
Also, not asked for, but for nicknames we call her Nor, EllieNora, SmellieEllieNora, and sometimes just plain Smellie. Again that might be the cold talking.

This would have to be one of my favorites, spelled Norah.
Love it!!!
Love it, especially as a NN for Eleanor / Elanor / etc. Adding to the charm would be our poster elbe's baby. :)
I love Nora! I love it as a nn for Elanor, or on it's own. But I can't decided if I like Nora or Norah better.
