but I can't stand Eliza, Betsy or Betty, either as nn's or names on their own. The sounds of them just doesn't appeal to me.
I love Elsa and Elsie, but I'd rather them as names on their own. They do work as nn's though. I also much prefer Ella on its own, but I love it so much I'll take it any way it comes...lol.
