I love all of the names. My former roommate's sister had a baby last year and they were on the phone trying to find names for her. My roommate was asking me to come up with Arabic names for her. They really liked Malaika, but decided on something different. Noor and Malaika are probably my top favorite Arabic girls' names. Come to think of it, I would use Noor Malaika or Malaika Noor if I had myself a baby with the appropriate heritage. ;-) I also love Noor for boys.

I think Malaika is gorgeous, but looks like you got kreey8tyv with Michaela. I'd avoid it at the moment.I love Oliver! Oliver James pops to mind, but other suggestions could be Oliver Henry, Oliver Luca, Oliver Nicholas, Oliver Nathan, Oliver William, and Oliver Jonah.I love Noor! Soraya is also pretty. I go back and forth on Nadia-- right now I think it's okay. I really like Mona but the 'moan' sound is rather offputting. I find Farah really ugly, sorry. Aida has so many pronunciation troubles (AY-dah? EYE-dah? eye-EE-dah?), and looks rather tryndeigh and insubstantial.Noor Sophia
Noor Milena
Noor Amelia
Noor Leilani (a bit of clashing there, though)
Noor Emilia
Leila Noor [LAY-lah] (I know you wanted middle name suggestions, but I think this would be just stunning!)
Noor Camille
Noor Elena
Noor Liliana
Noor Annelise / Noor Anneliese [ann-eh-LEES] (this is probably my favorite)

Oh, but Noor Anastasia is so gorgeous. But I understand; even perfect combos can get old. Noor Alexandra immediately popped into my head. OK. How about:Aida -- Gorgeous, especially if pronounced, "ah-EE-da." Where's my anvil? Aida Mirabel? Aida Christiane / Christabel? Aida Pascale? Farah -- All I can think of is Ms. Fawcett. I know she spells this with two "r's," but she owns the name to me. Not a favorite. Farah Jasmine? Farah Persis? Farah Tanith?Malaika -- You know, I've always wondered about this name. The pronunciation, I mean. It does *look* creative, but obviously isn't. If pronounced, "mah-lah-EE-ka," then that would go a long way to dispelling the creative look of it, if that makes sense. Anyway, you've asked for combinaitons, so how about Malaika Eve? Malaika Johari? Malaika Surya (as in Ms. Bonaly)? Mona -- I always thought this was a Gaelic name. Perhaps both cultures came to the name independantly. How about Mona Roxelana? Mona Ruby? Mona Renata? Nadia -- Isn't this Russian? Perhaps it's like Mona. Nadia in any language is very beautiful. Nadia Sophie? Nadia Mayim ("mah-EEM")?

Wow, thanks Bear!Yeah... I still like Noor Anastasia, I just loved it for too long, you know?Aida Mirabelle would be gorgeous, and Aida Pascale is sounding so perfect to me right now. Amazingly... I think it might be the combo.Who is Farrah Fawcett? I am off to wikipedia after this... Farah Jasmine is lovely and sounds really exotic.I like the idea of the pronunciation Mah-lah-ee-ka, but it's way too hard for me to say.Mona Ruby is adorable!Nadia Sophie is one I have thought of before... I do like it, very much.Aha! "So elegant i hurts." The perfect description of Noor :D Noor Inez is driving me nuts it's so beautiful! If you wanted to, you could always go on with that Noor list in a PM to lulee girl, LOL :)Thanks so much!
