I'd never use it but what do you think of Romola?

I kind of like it. It has a similar sound to Ramona which seems to be growing in popularity.

How is everyone pronouncing it?I say ROM-oh-la, and think it sounds pretty enough, though I wouldn't use it.

I have only heard it in association with the actress Romola Garai, and I think it's rah-MOH-lah. I kind of like it (mainly because of her, I think :b) but it's not something I'd use.

It sounds a bit ugly to me. More like a cream you can get at the pharmacy than a name. It's the 'mole'.

It sounds a bit strange to me, not like a name (it sounds more like a brand name or something). I would prefer a boy called Romulus over a girl called Romola.
