Drew and I just celebrated our first anniversary! We went out and treated ourselves to a very fancy dinner that cost us a fortune. Instead of exchanging gifts, we bought some paint and second-hand furniture and redecorated the living room. We've been wanting to do that for a long while now.

I also found out that we're expecting our first child! It's amazing and we can't wait. I found out about two days before our anniversary. I surprised Drew after we went out for dinner by taking him to Babies 'R' Us. He knew what I was implying the moment we pulled into the parking lot. For the next hour, we browsed through the store--fancy clothes and all.

We've been discussing some names. I'm not even three months along yet, and we picked out names already. We've decided to use either Rachel Eve or Elijah Robert. Drew wants to wait until the baby is born to find out the gender. I can't wait for our baby!
