[Opinions] WDYTO Roxelana?
What's your opinion on Roxelana? Would you use it or is it too strange? Is it pronounced how it looks, like Rox-uh-lah-nuh?And also, which do you prefer, Roxanne, Roxane, Roxana, or Roxanna?

I don't think I would use it. It's sounds a little too wild for me. However I do like Roxanne.

I wouldn't use Roxelana because it makes me think of a drag queen. However, I would use Roxanne because I really like that name.

My great great great grandmothers name is Roxena

I prefer Roxann (my friend is Roxxann, the symmetry to honor Redd Foxx). I think it's very spunky, but I don't like any of the others. Also, I'd prn Roxelana as rox-eh-lah-na.

Dislike it, Roxanna or Lana would be much better

Yes I think Roxelana is too strange, sorry. And, I prefer Roxanne.

I think Roxelana is a nice enough name. It's not something I'd use, but not because it's "too strange," just because I don't like it enough. I pronounce it as it looks.I prefer (and adore) Roxane because I associate it with the play "Cyrano de Bergerac."
