Tisiphone, pronounced Ta-SIF-ah-nee. I really like this name. Seeing as how Persephone is becoming popular, as well as an alternative to Stephanie, I think people would have an easier time pronouncing it. It's also a pretty alternative to Tiffany. WDYT?

I like Tisiphone, but I prefer the Greek pronunciation of tee-SEE-foh-nee. As alternatives to Tiffany go, I prefer the original form of Theophania.

I find Stephanie and Tiffany to be a bit too popular but they're bot better than Tisiphone in my opinion. Tisiphone isn't made up but it sounds like it is.

I think it's a more esoteric selection over Stephanie, and kind of like it. I don't believe people are going to have an easier time pronouncing it, because telephone is a more common word than Persephone.

I think it's very pretty but if you're in the US give it a miss in terms of using it - I think your daughter will constantly get called Tiffany.
