[Opinions] Antonia?
I've recently begun really loving the name Antonia. Is it too old-fashioned for a little girl nowadays? Any combo suggestions? Also, what do you think of Antonia and Matilda for a sibset?

I love Antonia. It's been on my faves list for a few months now. I don't think it's too old fashioned at all! Antonia and Matilda are lovely together. Both names are gorgeous.

I think Antonia is just lovely. And, no it is not too old-fashioned at all. Goes great with Matilda as well.

I like it, too, but I wonder if you are pronouncing it An-TO-nia or an-to-NIA

I think Antonia has a timeless charm and could easily be used on a child today. Antonia and Matilda are a fine sibset.

I think Antonia is a gorgeous name and it has not been crossed off my list yet (I also like Anthony a lot, which poses a problem). I don't think it is old-fashioned in the slightest bit. I really like Antonia and Matilda as a sibset, especially because both names would honor family (Antonia would be for an Anton).

nothing is to old-fashioned really [m]Afterall children will grow into adults, they don't stay children forever :).ETA: I like Antonia, but prefer Antoinette a bit better.

I like it! Antonia and Matilda would make a wonderful set. Similar in style, very different in sound.

Antonia is so beautiful! One of my fave names of all time... and its certainly not old fashioned; I actually encountered a girl of about four with the name recently. Antonia and Matilda makes me think of two darling little English sisters! My only problem with the name is the nicknames for it- I really don't like the nickname Toni at all. I guess I would go for Annie or give her a J middle name so she could be AJ.
