[Opinions] Re: Candace
in reply to a message by iris
I think Candace/Candice is very very pretty, so elegant and sophisticated but not flowery. You don't see it used much, especially as a full name, most of them end up Candy. I agree with you about Candy, it sounds like either a stripper, an ex-cheerleader who still hasn't gotten over her glory days, or a dog. lol My grandparents, I think, or maybe it was an aunt and uncle, had a three-legged dog named Candy when I was very little. I don't remember just how she came to be three-legged maybe a car accident, or a fight with a coyote. Shoot, now I'm going to be wondering about this all day and probably have to call somebody in Oklahoma to find out. :)Candace is my preferred spelling, don't know why.Candace AmeliaCandace AprilCandace ClaireCandace ElaineCandace EllenCandace FayeCandace IreneCandace IvyCandace JoyCandace JenniferCandace LaurenCandace LouiseCandace MarieCandace MarleneCandace NoelleCandace NaomiCandace OpalCandace OliviaCandace PaigeCandace PearlCandace RoseCandace RubyCandace ValerieCandace Yvonne
