[Opinions] Hayden for a girl?
Hayden with this spelling is growing on me for a girl. WDYT of it? I still prefer on a boy though. Any MN suggestions?Hayden Victoria is sort of growing on me, but I don't "love" it.

I know a girl named Hayden, she goes by Haylie and her parents used Hayden so she'd have a more dignified full name than just Haylie. Thing is they hadn't a clue how popular Hayden is, or all of the other '-den' names are for boys. I don't think most people think Hayden is a unisex names, so I've heard some pretty rude comments about girls being named Hayden, especially from the parents of boys named Hayden.

I hate all -aiden names, with the exception of Aidan for a boy because it's an old Irish name.
But if you must, I prefer Victoria Hayden.

Would you have a daughter named Hayden, then, and a son named Claire?

No! Please, the girls took Reese and Avery, two of my all-time favorite names for boys, and now I plan on naming my son Hayden. Please don't use this on a girl! I swear, if I started liking the name Steve suddenly people would think it was a great girls' name. Hayden doesn't sound at all feminine. Why?!?!?

First off don't worry I can't picture me at least 90% with a girl named Hayden. Hayden is on my boys list in the top 30.Avery to me is a boy's name. One I might use for my son. I just thought Hayden can be cute on a girl.

I guess I like this name better on a boy :)

I've met a couple of little girls named Hayden / Haiden, and currently the actress Hayden Panettiere is starring in the tv show "Heroes" which is probably causing at least a little surge in its popularity. I don't love it for a boy, but I particularly dislike it for a girl. It's extremely masculine and trendy (along with all the other -aden names).

I think there are so many better options than Hayden for a girl.If I got passed my prejudice I'd say that Hayden and Victoria sound nice together but they are two completely different naming styles.
I don't really want to do mn combos because I don't like Hayden as a girl's name.

I don't see any appeal at all, sorry.Boyishness aside (which I don't even care that much about) it's the -ayden names in general that are so boring, I yawn just seeing one of them. You have far more interesting names on your list. Ditch this one.

It's not my style to be sure, for boy or girl, but it does seem to suit a boy best. However, Hayden Victoria does sound rather nice. There might be other combos that it could work.
