John and I are thrilled to announce the arrival of our second daughter, Melissa Riley. She came into the world on May 8th, weighing 7 pounds, 4 ounces; 19 3/4 inches long. She's a beautiful little girl with light brown hair and blue eyes. Missy has a wonderful disposition and a sweet personality. She loves to be held and is a happy little girl.
Ariella is now two years old and doing wonderfully. She loves having a baby sister at home and is proud to show her off to everyone who comes for a visit. We were a little worried that she'd be jealous, but there are no signs of sibling rivalry or jealousy. She adores Melissa, though we sometimes have to remind her that she's not a baby doll :-) Ariella is a sweet little girl who loves to have stories read to her, enjoys playing with her dolls, and is quite the Mommy's girl, though she does also have Daddy wrapped around her finger.
John and I love being parents and would love to have more children. We'll more than likely wait at least a year and half to have another.
