[Opinions] Rowena vs. Nina
Because of the similar sound, it doesn't seem like it would be very logical to use both names in a sibset, KWIM?So on to my question. If you had to choose, would you choose Rowena or Nina? Thanks in advance. =)

NinaI don't like the "ween" sound in Rowena, but I love Nina!

NinaI think it's the "ween" sound that makes me dislike Rowena.

Rowena, 'cos it sounds classier. And 'cos Nina reminds me of the sound of an ambulance siren!S xx

RowenaI think because I've known a few Nina's and no Rowena's, I'd rather see Rowena

NinaInteresting. I thought didn't like Rowena because I find the "eee-nah" sound ugly. But I do like Nina. I never thought of it having that sound too.Well, I don't know why, but I definitely think Nina is nicer than Rowena.

I like both, and even though I prefer Rowena I worry about the "ween" sound in the middle and possible teasing. :-/ Both are lovely, but I definitely wouldn't use them for sisters.

Rowena by along way. Nina sounds like a noise.

I prefer Nina. I really love its meaning and I think it sounds prettier, too.

Rowena. Nina has some appeal to it, but I don't like it as much as I do Rowena.Array

I would pick Nina, but as a nn for something else. I knew an Annette who went by Nina, so that would be one possibility.

I would choose Rowena. For some reason I think Nina is a name for a pet. It also looks like a NN to me. Rowena is much better.
