[Games] Re: Meggie's Adoption agency
Family-
LN: Seppänen
You: Sari Eliisa; 28; family doctor; hiking, biking, and fishing.
SO: none (see "other info")
Children:
>>>Malachi Matthias is 16 years old. He is in a wheelchair due to a fractured spine (his father stabbed him when he defended his sister) but loves to play wheelchair basketball. He may walk again with treatment.
>>>Adelaide Natalia is his twin sister. Her father raped and beat her when she was younger. The only person she trusts is Malachi. She is a selective mute, but we have reason to believe that she talks to her brother. She is a piano virtuoso.
>>>Hope Malia is a 15-year-old from Hawaii. She was also raped, but only once, when she was 12. She got into trouble at school (now we hoomeschool her) and she has trust issues. She loves embroidery and biking.
>>>Waitimu Jengo "Wai" is a 10-year-old from Ethiopia. Polio attacked him and disabled his right arm and both legs. He's in a wheelchair but loves playing basketball with Malachi and Whitney. He is emotionally sound and very smart.
>>>Wyatt "Whitney" is another 10-year-old. He was in a crack house but we know nothing about his past as he refuses to talk about it. He is just learning how to read and is teased brutally even though he's homeschooled too. This causes him to get in many fights; he and I are struggling to correct that behavior. He loves basketball and biking.
>>>Anne Gabrielle "Anna" is 6. She witnessed her mother killing her father and now is afraid of all strangers, especially adults. She has a hard time adjusting to new things but has been doing okay as new family members come in. She loves animals.
>>>Sofia Linnea, 5, has severe cerebral palsy and is in a wheelchair like Malachi and Wai. She also has hearing aids and an artificial voice generator. She is very smart and loving, though, and loves just about everything! Sofia especially loves reading, and learning to read alongside Wyatt.
>>>Katariina Johanna "Kaia" is 3 and from Estonia. She was abused by her father, who is now in prison for murder. She is also a selective mute, although occassionally she'll say something like "water" or "tired" etc, in Estonian. She has not learned to speak English but she understands it. Deathly afraid of men, but plays well with children. She loves dogs.
>>>Andreas Viktor is a 16 month old Danish boy. He is very smart but autistic. He is very, very, very cuddly but shy around new people. He makes all of us, even Adelaide and Anna, smile when we're around him. He loves animals, playing outside, hiking, and "playing basketball" with his brothers (i.e. fetching the ball for them ;).
Pets: Thea is a 1-year-old female Keeshond. She is great with children - we bought her for Andreas so she had to be.Language: English, Finnish, Amharic, French, Swedish, Estonian, Danish. Although Sofia's voice generator can be altered to translate into virtually any language.
Religion: No preference, but we are very Christian.
Other info: Go ahead, be brutal :) I am a single woman. Having lost my trust in men early in life, I have no intentions of getting married; thus if you have any children with fear of men, I would be a good mother for them. :) Yes, I am completely capable of taking care of children and making a living on my own. I am willing to learn any language, adopt any race, deal with any disabilities, hire any type of counselor, etc. Please give me the children that others are too timid or otherwise unwilling to adopt because of those details. Thanks in advance! -Sari Seppänen-Adoption-

Ebele Adaeze "Belle" is a fourteen year old from Nigeria. She was abused and raped by her sixteen year old stepbrother, and she is pregnant with his twins, a boy and a girl. She wants to name them Funanya and Azubuike. She has an extreme distrust of men. Belle enjoys arts and crafs of every kind, but probably will not talk much until she gets to know you- she isn't a selective mute, but she is very shy. Please let us know how Belle is doing!

Six months later:Thank you, Meggie, for bringing us this beautiful girl! She is doing fairly well. Here is the update:Well, as can be expected, Belle's twins' birth did not go very smoothly. She is, after all, only 14! We had a planned C-section. Funanya Diane Seppänen (now nicknamed "Anya") came first, healthier than expected but immediately placed in an incubator with respiratory help. Azubuike Roy Seppänen ("Azu"), unfortunately, did not do as well. He was in intensive care for a long time, but was revived. Anya is now doing very well, but Azu is very delicate. However, Belle and her children are still alive, which is very lucky.Belle's presence immediately seemed to intrigue Hope and Adelaide, since they all had somewhat similar experiences. The fact that Belle was pregnant seemed to interest the two even more, although Adelaide still said nothing to her new sister and Hope was observant only from a distance. But when Belle was 7 months pregnant, Adelaidestarted talking to her! Now she is talking at an almost normal level and Hope was a huge support when Belle had her babies.Belle has also grown extremely close to Kaia, although Kaia still doesn't speak. Anna seems to like Belle, but she doesn't return the affection. As for the boys in the family, Belle doesn't seem interested as yet.Anya and Azu are now 6 weeks old, and Andreas loves them! We are amazed at what these three new family members have done for us. Thank you, Meggie!
