[Opinions] Caroline
What are your opinons on Caroline? Below are combos we like, which is best? Any other ideas?Caroline Corrine
Caroline Paulette (For grandfather Paul, and husband's grandmother Pauline)
Caroline Cecilia (we like the possibility of calling the baby Cece)
Caroline Antonia (Alternative to Antoinette)
Caroline Clare (other name we are considering for baby is Clara)Are any of these better than Clara Pauline in your opinion?Edit: misspelled Cecilia

I adore Caroline, said with a -line ending, not a -lyn ending.Caroline Antonia is really lovel! Caroline Clare is also lovely (but I prefer it spelled Claire).Since I can't stand Pauline (sorry), my pick is Caroline Antonia.

I like Caroline but I love Clara. You can't go wrong with either, IMO, though. Caroline Paulette and Caroline Cecilia are the nicest combos, I think. :)

As Caroline is my youngest dd's mn (would have been her fn if I had had my say), I obviously love it. Caroline Corrine -- I prefer Corinne and while I like alliteration, I dislike the way both names end in the 'n' sound.Caroline Paulette -- I like this one.Caroline Cecilia -- Ooh, I really like this one and the nick, Cece!Caroline Antonia -- I love Antonia but not the way these two names flow. WDYT of Antonia Caroline? Pretty!

Caroline Clare -- I like this too; prefer Claire. Some combos I was toying with while pregnant:Caroline Gabrielle
Caroline Juliana -- I was due in July, thus Juliana. ;-)
Caroline Maria -- I considered calling her Cara Mia at the time.
Caroline Paige -- I hate it now, though.
Caroline Rachel
Caroline Sophia
Caroline SusannaRe: Clara Pauline, while I do like it, I like Caroline so much more.

Since it's my name I have to say I like it. I really like the fact that it's a very international name. It's know in the whole Western World at least. I'm wondering how you will pronounce it? Caro-LINE or Caro-LEEN? My name is pronounced like Caro-Leen but it's closer to the French pronounciation.I definitely think Caroline is better than Clara. Caroline Cecilia is great combo imo, but I also like Caroline Paulette and Caroline Antonia.

Caro-LINE. My husband originally brought up Carolina (pronounced like the state) because he's originally from North Carolina. I vetoed.

I think Caroline is really nice.
I'd go for Caroline Paulette, because it honours two people. However I am drawn to the nn Cece.. hard choice. But if you still wanted to nn her Cece you could, I know a baby called Jenna and her nn was JayJay, though her mn was Elizabeth. So Caroline nn Cecy could work, if you wanted.

I definitely prefer Caroline over Clara, and Caroline Cecilia is a very pretty combination. I love the name Cecilia, and Cece would be a cute nickname :-)

I still think Clara Pauline is best, though I do love Cecilia individually. Cecilia Pauline would be amazing.

Caroline Corinne - Also quite pretty.I think Caroline Paulette is the best, and matches her siblings names very well.

I really like Caroline Cecelia nn Cece! I really like Clara, but I'm not so fond of the combo Clara Pauline. Clara Cecily came to mind.

Oooh, Clara Cecily is gorgeous. And you could still call her Cece/C.C.! :)
