I didn't know it was masculine. In fact I've never heard of it at all!
It sounds too much like the drug Advair.

Personally I don't like the name. However, it does sound soft for a girl. Thanks

The only Adair I have known was female. Plus I always saw Adairs as a women's clothing store (though it seems they have manchester and haberdashery too). But the imprint is made and it makes Adair seem more unisex to me.I'd never use it, but if someone else wanted to thay can go right ahead. :)

I love it as a boys name but don't like it at all as a girls name.

Not having known that it was a masculine name beforehand, it sounds like it could be used for either.

Knowing that Adair is the Scottish form of Edgar, I can't see it as feminine at all. I love Edgar and like Adair. Since Adair isn't as well known as Edgar, it would be better off as a boy's mn. E.g., Patrick Adair, Thomas Adair, Kenneth Adair.

I adore Adair for a boy but I think it sounds bad on a girl.
