(feel free to correct if wrong) but Buddists do not have traditional names set on the religion. Names tend to be more cultural based ie. where you live or used to live. I'd go for where the country is, if she lives in India then she'll be more likely to have an Indian name, or if her heritage is Italian then she might have an Italian name. My friend is a Buddhist and his name is Jason - it's not exactly connected to the religion. My Muslim friend is called Anushka which is a Russian name, doesn't mean anything.Maya is a cute name :) (sorry - I assume this is for a story. Apologies for rambling)

i absolutly understand what you are saying but...for ex catholicks tend to chouse names of saints, bishops etc.
I was hoping to find some propositions of such names in Buddhist religion...feith leaders, nice word from sanskrit maybe, buddhist sybmols that could make a nice girl name?!anyonePS. It's for my friends...
