[Surname] Hornor
Does anyone know what this name means and where it comes from?
I can guess that it's similar in meaning and/or origin to Horner (with an "E" instead of an "O"), which probably makes it some sort of English, but I have no idea.
Thanks in advance.

Right on both counts, it's the same as Horner and it's English, or possibly Scots in some cases.
Meaning, occupational, a maker of spoons, combs, et al., from animal horn. It could also mean someone who blew a horn, perhaps to summon people to meetings or such.
