I love this name on Ridley Scott (the director), but I think it really depends on whether it suits the person. My aunt was going to name my cousin this, but chose Brett instead and Ridley would not have suited him. I do like it though.

It reminds me of the word Riddle.

It's a surname. It doesn't even sound that great IMO.

I immediately think of Metroid Prime, and the space dragon boss associated with it. Me and my brother really like this name... I tease him that he should name his future kids Samus and Ridley.

The first thing I think of is "good riddance!" Sounds very uppity and old-fashioned. Would be very awful on a girl.

Dashing surname-name for a guy. Gag-me horrid on a girl.
