[Opinions] Savannah...
What are your thoughts on this name? For a girl, of course.

Pretty. I know a 12 year old Savannah.
I love it, it is my firend's little girl's name and she is adorable.
Beautiful, and with some cute nn's like Savvy and Vanna
It doesn't do anything for me. It feels trendy to me, and I equate it to naming a child Tundra, Taiga or Prairie.
I really don't like it. It sounds trendy and kind of common to me.
That said, I know a beautiful young lady (about 16) named Savannah.

I think Savannah is a very pretty name. It has grown on me a lot as of late and is quickly moving up on my list of favorites.
I don't like it. To me, it's the same as naming your kid Meadow or Prairie. It also seems very trendy, which doesn't appeal to me at all.
I find it tacky and almost trashy, sorry. The sound is pretty, but it's a place and habitat (savanna). It's also very trendy and I don't think it would age very well. Susannah is so much nicer.
I have a cousin named Savannah. I think that it sounds very pretty. I also love Dr. Pepper lol could not resist it is my favorite :)
Thank you :-)
I love it, and would consider using it
I think it's beautiful! It was on our top ten for our daughter. Very feminine without being cutesy. (Side note: the oldest Savannah I know of is in my husband's online "Fantasy NASCAR League." She is in her mid-thirties. And one of the other league membeers knows her personally, so we know it's her real name.)
Thanks...do you think you could use the nn Anna/Annie with it?
I guess you could...
But why would you? I mean, Anna and Annie are totally separate names, and rather plain ones in my view. Savannah is sucha pretty name, and has so much character of its own, it seems a shame to trim it up.

True and they would make it a totally different name...I didn't really think you could use them.
To RoxStar...
What did you name your dd?
