I guess Salem is a name, I've found it on a few name sites they say its Hebrew and means "peace" what do you think of it?

Shalom is Hebrew and means peace, not Salem. I think of the Salem Witch Trials.

Salem and Shalom mean the same thing, so Salem does mean "peace."

Beautiful meaning but I can't seen to see past Salem's Lot. I wouldn't use it.
