I like the name, this spelling is my favourite. But its so popular hereI have met 7 or 8 little Maia/Maya/Myah/Mya's at the park in only 2.5 months. Every time we are there there is a Maia.But it is a very lovely name, so I can see why.

I like it a lot. I also like Maya, but I like both pronunciations (MAY-a and MY-a). Really, really cool name. I also like Kaia.

I don't like the spelling Maia, I prefer Maya or Maja.
In Sweden Maja is very popular (place 2 in the top 100 names 2006)I prefer the prn MAY-a
