What do you think of the name Ottilie, i think its absolutely gorgeous

I kind of like it, but it reminds me of the word "oddly." I think it would fine to use in a place like France or Germany though.
One of my cousins has a daughter named Ottilie, called Tilly. I like it, in its way, though I can see how it is frilly for some people's tastes. Tilly's siblings are Sophrona and Frank.
There is an older English children's comic called Rupert, about a polar bear (Rupert) and his friends, one of whom is Ottoline the otter. I tend to put te two together in my head! The association is actually pleasant.

It makes me think of a tottering cartoon old lady... The 'tottering' probably came from the sound of the name...
