[Opinions] Re: Jack, Maeve, Linnea and Eamon?
Linnea is absolutely lovely. Sweet and underused. As for Jack, well, at least it's not Jackson. But seriously, this name is so popular right now it's not even funny. There are little boys named Jack everywhere.I've never liked the name Eamon. It just seems to have a limp kind of sound. I much prefer the English version, Edmund.Maeve reminds me of a character in a children's book I like who's an evil enchantress. It also screams trying too hard to be Irish.

"It also screams trying too hard to be Irish."I can't really try to be something that I already am....I have always loved the name Maeve and just because Irish names are "in" now doesn't deter me from naming my children something that reflects their heritage and mine
