[Opinions] Re: twins, narrowing down boy's name

Trenton/Trent-- I really don't like either of these names. They sound screechy to me. But, there's nothing wrong with them, they're just not my taste. Trent stands perfectly fine on its own in my opinion.
Alexander-- I love this name, and I don't think it's too popular, especially with Catherine, which is also fairly popular. I think Catherine and Alexander would make an absolutely stunning sibset. If you are worried about the popularity, you could try using Leander, Lysander, Oleander or Coriander.
Cole-- I've never been a fan of this name. It seems trendy to me. However, I don't think it's too cutesy with Cate.
Joel-- This name always struck me as a very intelligent person's name. I like it, it's classy and timeless. It goes well enough with Catherine.
Samuel-- Very wholesome, all-American sounding. But if it's not a favourite, I wouldn't choose it. Choose a name you love. Sam and Cate would make a darling sibset, though.
Travis-- I don't like this either. For some reason it sounds like a "snitch" to me, or a mean kid.
I'd personally go with Alexander Russell and Catherine Lynn. Good luck!
