[Opinions] Abram
I've played with this name quite a bit, and now I'm really liking it. I think it matches my other favorites - Peter, Laurence, Jonas, Tobias - quite well.I'm not sure as to a middle name, though it would probably be a family name."What do you guys think, and what siblings would you pair with an Abram?

I really like the name Abram. I was in the Lounge and had read your one survey that you like the name Allan. I know they start with the same letter but I think that Abram Allan would sound so adorable. IMO.

I think it fits quite well with your favourite boys names. Are you looking for girls names to pair with it?

Sorry, but the image of a tank is too ingrained in my mind. :-(This might not fit the style of your other names (which I adore, by the way) but Avram ("AHV-rahm") sounds lovely to my ears. Or even Bram, like Mr. Stoker.

I really like this name, it's short & strong and a little more manageable than Abraham. Abram John or Abram Tobias would be awesome combos

Abram is wonderful. It's been a favorite of mine for years. I'm not good when it comes to sibling-pairing, but it does go quite well with your other favorites. :)

I wouldn't use it but it's a fine name, and it fits very well with the other names.

Lots of good ones here.Naomi - I love this name so much, but I'm in the minority with how I pronounce it. I cannot stand it said NAY-oh-me. :-(
Camilla - utterely adorable
Leah - this one is a maybe because of the meaning.Nathaniel - LOVE
Jonah - I'm trying to get Zander to like this. If I can't use Jonas, than I'll use Jonah.
Leo
Gabriel
VincentIn fact, the only ones I don't like are Aviva, Luke (I'm on the fence), Camille and Rose. Thanks!

Personally I prefer Abraham, because that is the name God gave Abram after he changed it. I also think Abraham fits better with your other names.

Thankfully, I'm not religious.Or too religious. :-DAbraham, while the father of three religions and a great man, is a bit much for a child of today to handle.

I love it.Abram is much better than Abraham for a child, IMHO. Abraham's a great name, and I like it a lot, but it's pretty outdated. Jonas and Tobias are also great, and Laurence and Peter are slowly growing on me.

With the brothers you have listed, I like Abram...but as a name, I love Bram. Yes, there's the Bram Stoker thing, but I don't think the connection is overwhelming. Abram I'd stick with the biblical/hebrew references- Ezra, Ruth, Susannah, Eve etc. Bram would be more flexible- biblical names like Ezra/Ruth/Eve, but also "jazz" names like Art, Chet/Chester, Etta and older european names like Adele and Tilda, Linnea...

I love it with EliezerMy MIL used friend pairings in the Bible - David and Jonathan for her son, which I think is a bit clever. I do like Abram. Abram and Eliezer were very close in the text (and I love the name Eliezer).
