I think Wolfram would be better, even though both names don't flow well imo. I think Wolfram is less likely to be made fun of, cosidering it's association with music and food.
I think it is a good idea to mix either name you choose with a conventional middle name, simply because it would flow better that way.

Wolfram is nicer than Wolfgang, imo. Mozart or no, Wolfgang just makes me think of a gang of wolves. :-/ I agree using a more conventional name with Wolfram is a good idea. I like Wolfram Peter, but then it sounds a bit too much like 'Peter & the Wolf'. :b Wolfram George gmv (gets my vote).

I like both names, but as a first name, Wolfram seems a bit more suitable. Wolfram Peter reminds me of Peter and the Wolf, but I like Wolfram Robert. I think it might be better with a mn a bit less conventional than the ones you've listed. Maybe Wolfram Eliot, Wolfram Edmond, Wolfram Rupert, Wolfram Rainer, Wolfram Reginald, Wolfram Alexander (I know it's popular but it seems right to me).

I prefer Wolfram because it feels less Mozarty. Wolfram's nice actually, I could definitely grow to like it. All the combos you've listed go well, and I think it's a good idea to mix the usual names with the not-so-usual.

I really prefer Wolfgang for sound, but it makes me think of MOzart who's music I admire, but not his personality, so I prefer WOlfram for the image it conjures.

I prefer Wolfgang.

I love Wolfram, and it's much better than Wolfgang in my opinion. Another that I've heard is Wolfstan.
