I think Maximilian is an okay name, but you'll probably end up calling the little boy Max instead of using the whole entire name. I prefer names like Maxwell and Maxim because they're not as long or complicated, and shortening the names to 'Max' seems less necessary.

As for the sibset Maximilian and Alexander/Max and Alex, I think it's a nice sibset. And no, the x's aren't too themey (IMO), but they would be if Max and Alex rhymed.
