Help[Opinions] Phoenix on a girl?
I heard this name and I can't get it out of my head. I hate it on a boy, but on a girl I starting to love it WDYT.

I prefer it for a boy, my friend's son's name is Phoenix Tyler.

I love Pheonix for a boy, but could never use it (its a guilty pleasure). It sounds masculine to me because its similar to Felix in sound.

I've always loved this name for a girl. When I was smaller, I went through a phase during which I wanted to be named Phoenix so much I even started telling people my name was Phoenix, haha.

I love this for a girl. I think its got a pretty sound to it, and also represents strength (the mythical bird being reborn from the ashes) Strong and feminie at the same time! good choice...

but I knew this kid that was named this. He's been teased and bullied by boys that think this name is "frilly", because of this he's shy and scared all the time. I've stood up for him a couple of times but I'm no match for the kids that are beating him up. I also remember a quote from previous thread that the mom name her boy Phoenix Ezekiel and when asked about it said quote "it's character building" I don't remeber the thread name but it was about a month ago.

I don't like this name for a girl or for a boy. It has a wonderful connotation, but to me, it doesn't have a very pretty sound at all.
