[Opinions] Arden
I've always seen Arden as a male name, but lately I've been noticing that some people perceive it as a female name. So, what do you think... is Arden more male or female? Why? Good middle names either way?

I see it as feminine becauseI knew a girl named Arden, so I'll probably always see it as a girl's name. Maybe if I knew a guy named Arden, I'd see it as a guy's name...but the only person I've ever known was named Arden was female. I think it's pretty for a girl, though - now that I think of it - I could see it on a guy.

definitely male. Love it.

Don't care much for it either way, reminds me of the Elizabeth Arden cosmetics. Since it's surnamey, for me it's more masculine.

Arden is a male name to me.

I see it as a unisex name, but I can't say I've seen it used IRL for either gender that I can recall. It does at first bring to mind a girl, though, but probably only because of Elizabeth Arden cosmetics. :b

I can't really picture it on a male or female. All I think of when I hear/see it is garden without the 'g'. If it was used on a girl, it would need a very feminine sounding mn to balance it out.

To me, it sounds masculine. However, I've only known one person named Arden, and this Arden was female. I don't particularly care for the name either way, but I think it makes a good middle name for either gender.
