I think a lot of people (in the US anyway) would try to pronounce it JANN, like the feminine nicknames for Janet, Janelle, etc, rather than YAHN. But one simple correction would do the trick. I love it, and I prefer it to similar alternatives like Johan or Johannes.

ETA: Actually, I think I like Johan and Jan about the same. But it's still very handsome.
