I know a girl who goes by Margo (without the T) as a nickname short for Margaret. I think it's alright, not a fave, but it sort of works.

Yay, Margaret is one of my favourite names! :)

I don't mind Maggie as a nickname for Margaret, but my favourite is Meg. I definitley don't like Marge though.
