[Opinions] Mattea and Ayla
So I think I have my top two girl names figured out (of course, they will probably change slightly as time goes on).
What do you think of Mattea Roisin and Ayla Rose? Would they work as a sibset?
By the way, I think you guys have rubbed off on me. My naming style has changed a bit since I have been on this board :)

I am pronouncing Ayla like AY-la.
As for the mn's, I realized after I had posted that they were essentially the same name, so I will have to work on the middle names a little.

I think they sound really good together though I wouldn't strictly say they are my style at the moment but I know what you mean about chaging styles!
Ayla Rose is pretty, but Rose is so boring and overused as a MN. I like this combo better than the other. Mattea never did much for me, but it's not bad. I really like Roisin, too. Unfortunately, I think Mattea Roisin just classes in sound, look and style. Plus, they're both a little more closely associated with an ethnicity than, say, Ayla or Rose, and while I fully support using names from any background on any child, I don't necessarily think that they pair so well in a single combo.
Mattea is gorgeous! Nice sibset, although the mns mean the exact same thing. If that doesn't bother you, though, it's fine. Most people would not notice, and it's not like they're the fns.
I did realize right after I posted the names that the mns are essentially the same. I will have to think about whether I would be ok with that.
I really like them both, and I think they'd be great as a sibset! I've never heard of Mattea before, and I like the way that both of the second names relate somehow to 'Rose'. They're lovely :)
