Was that movie One Night With the King, by any chance? If so, I saw that movie. I really liked it. :)I love both Esther and Hadassah. They're lovely names, and the story of Esther is wonderful, so that's a plus.

Very pretty sound, I like it. I probably wouldn't use it but would love to see it on someone else's kid.

I used to know a lady who wanted to name her future dd Hadassah. I'm not sure I love it, however, I do prefer it to Esther. I like the softness of Hadassah.

Oh, I love this name. I was even going to use it in a story that I was writing, but opted out because Anthea fit the character better.Sort of off topic: You should check out the trilogy Mark of the Lion: A Voice in the Wind, An Echo in the Darkness, and As Sure As the Dawn by Francine Rivers. Hadassah is the name of the main character. That's where I first heard the name, and that series is still one of my favorites.

I've always thought Hadassah was beautiful and exotic. I especially like Hadas (huh-DAHSS) as a nn.

Hadassah is nice, but I honestly prefer Esther.

Hadassah was Esther's Hebrew name. I prefer Esther, but it's pretty.

Love it.I want to like Esther, I really do, but it just doesn't strike me. Hadassah, on the other hand, is so beautiful.

I love it! I don't know if I'd use it, maybe as a MN.

I think it's beautiful, and I like the meaning too. It's one of my favorite Biblical names. Hadassah just sounds so pretty. I love saying it.
