Zyahn-ya? Zyan-ya? Zie-an-ya? Zie-ahn-ya? Zee-an-ya? Zee-ahn-ya? I think pronunciation would be confusing. The "y"s also turn me off...it just looks too tryndy, even though it is a real name.I also think that on the whole, using names from other cultures that one doesn't have a connection to isn't a great idea. Often (like in this case) there's an awkward transition into English, but more than that it just is another form of cultural appropriation -- UNLESS there's a specific reason for using it (you are close to someone named that, or have spent time living in and learning about that culture). So obviously *liking* names from other places is great...but actually using them...not so much.I do like Anya though, or Anja. Tanya/Tonya is another option, although I don't like it personally.

I think it is pretty, but I probably wouldn't use it because I find so many other names better. It has a nice flow to it. I wouldn't mind if you used it. :)

I'm assuming it's prncd zee-AHN-yah which is a little bit of a mouthful, if it was Zyana zee-AHN-ah I would like it a lot
