[Opinions] Robin
What do you think of Robin on a boy? Is it used too much on girls to be considered masculine? Do you think Robin would work best as a nn for Robert or better on its own?

LoveI love Robin on a boy. Mostly because how fun would it be to be a boy and get to read and watch things on Robin Hood or Batman and Robin. Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that would be fun.Plus Robin is handsome and masculine. Most female 'Robin's I know are spelled Robyn.

I wouldn't mind it on either boys or girls, to be honest. I just think maybe over the years the name has been used more frequently on females, but that doesn't mean Robin on a boy can't be considered masculine.Nice on it's own, but I think it would work as a nn for Robert.

I actually like the name, especially with this spelling, for a boy. I don't think it has to be used as a nn for Robert, not at all. It's a name that can stand on it's own imo.

I love it for a boy. I think it is very sweet. I think I would prefer it as a nn for Robert just so he can have a lot of options when he gets older.

I think Robin is handsome on either sex, though I do prefer it for a boy at the moment. I don't see why it couldn't still be used for a boy.I think I'd prefer it on its own to it as a nn.Array

I don't even like Robin that much on a girl. I hate it on a guy. It's just too birdy.

I knew a male Robin, though it always seemed kinda feminine to me. It is more common on girls in the US. I think it's one of those truly unisex names though - I'd love it on either gender.

Really, what is up with you and the term 'gay?' And by the way, Gargyle is spelled like that and not like this: Gargile.

I like it on boys slightly moreso than girls. I think it would work as a nickname, but I don't mind it on its own.

I like Robin on both genders, prefer a girl slightly more

I really like it. Robin is what my dad wanted to name me but that really doesn't mean it's a girls name seeing as how my parents went with Miles instead :-)

I absolutely love the name Robin for a boy. It isn't as masculine as it should be because of the number of girls with the name, but still, a very attractive name in my opinion.I does work well as a nn for Robert, but I actually love the name on its own.
