WDYT of Constance nn Connie?
I have always liked Constance as a mn, but it is really growing on me as a fn. Connie (Sarah Constance really) was the name of my great-grandpa's sister and she was such a great old woman. Grampa used to tell me all of these stories about Auntie Connie when I was little because she lived such an incredible life, especially for a woman born in 1902! She was a feminist, independent, determined, resourcefull, stubborn, adventurous, and larger than life. She inspired me a lot when I was little, and I still consider her one of my role models in life. I would love to tell my own little Connie one day about Auntie Connie and her amazing adventures :)
Could you please suggest some mns for Constance?

Constance Sarai is a great idea! I like it a lot!
I also really like Constance Matilda, although I think maybe it is a bit too strong (jeez, I don't say that very often!). WDYT?

Damn...I didn't even think about that :( I wouldn't be alright with Constance and Connor...that wouldn't pass the yelling down the house test one little bit! Can you imagine calling "CONNIE!" and both would run. "CONNOR" and both would run :(

I love Constance but I have taken it off of my possible child name list because I dislike the nn's. I think for you though it would be great because you don't seem to mind the nn. I think Constance would go with any mn that is spunky but classic like:
