[Opinions] Joseph and Maria
Right now I'm obsessed with the names Joseph and Maria. Do you think they're okay as siblings or a bit too themey (we are Catholic afterall, lol.) My other two children are named Sarah and Simon (the S theme wasn't intentional!) and we'd like one or two more children, so it's possible I'd have Sarah, Simon, Joseph and Maria. What do you think? Would it make a difference if it was Mary instead of Maria (I'm not sure what dh thinks of Maria and he refuses to talk about names unless I'm pregnant, lol.)

they're a bit weird together IMHObut otherwise, they're elegant names that are kinds of "evergreens". I love Maria especially. Changing it to Mary will make matters worse, if anything.

Joseph and Maria are nice, but i wouldn't suggest Joseph and Mary. When I saw Joseph and Maria the first thing I thought of was Jesus' mother and earthly father. The fact that they were married makes them a bit unuseable as siblings in my opinion. Because I noticed it with Maria Joseph and Mary would be too much. Maybe if Joseph or Mary was in the middle spot, but otherwise (espescially with consecutive siblings) it is a bit too much. by the way I love Simon and Sarah.

I love the name Maria....I'm not so certain about Joseph. It's not a bad name, it's just kind of blah.I feel the same way aobut sarah and simon....they are ok, they just don't send me over the roof. I would not change Maria to Mary. Maria is just so much better IMO.

I immediately thought of Catholicism when I saw the names, but that doesn't mean they are bad names. Besides, not everyone is going to make the same connection.
