Love it!It's one of my favourite girls names, and a serious contender for future DD #3 (lol!) I love nn Addie to, even though when I've mentioned it quite a few people say they don't. My favourite nn for it is Della, but I love Addie too.Gorgeous name.

I love Adelaide, but I prefer Ada as a nn. Addie is cute but too reminiscent of the trendy/overused Maddie, Addison, etc.

I really like the name. In fact, I just added it to my list!Would Bennet be the MN or LN?

Adore Adelaide. Addie not so much...she'd just get muddled up in the Maddies and Abbys. Plus, I've never liked the sound. Other possible nns for Adelaide:Ada
Adele
Adela
Deedee
Della
Del
Ella
Ellie
ElThough of course you don't have to listen to me, Addie's fine too.

I can't picture Adelaide on a child, but I'd be pleased to see it used nonetheless. I don't care for Addie though. I think it'd get lost with all the Abbys and Maddies you see these days.

I like it. For a while I thought it was to much like Lemonade. But I think it's better then Adeline, because Adeline reminds me of the way they addressed Maria in the sound of music. I am unsure how to spell it, but they called her "Froidline Maria" Plus I saw a woman with the name on the reality show, 'The Age of Love.' Where 20-somethings and 40-something try to win over the bachelor. I thought Adelaide was beautiful on a grown woman, stunning even. Nn's could be.....
Leia
Ada
Leida
AdelaLaidie would be cute, but Lady might be too Lady and the Tramp

This name's becoming popular all of the sudden. I like it, but wouldn't use it. I'm more of an Alice person. But I have to say, I don't like the middle name Bennett. For a girl at least.

I love Adelaide. My favorite nickname for it is Ada, followed by Adele, but Addie is cute as well. Except...I'm just afraid an Addie would get lost in a sea of Maddie's.
