In 1420 Cosimo VII married Maria-Cristina, the eldest daughter of King Friedrich of neighboring country Izturia. The Izturian royal family are members of the illustrious Kasselmark dynasty, which has ruled Izturia for over five hundred years and boasts a powerful army. This makes the marriage both politically and militarily advantageous for Cosimo. However, after six years, Maria-Cristina had still not borne the king a son and heir, only three daughters (one of which was stillborn). The long-awaited birth of Crown Prince Cosimo (later Cosimo VIII) in 1427 was commemorated by a week of celebration throughout Revelia. A second son, Prince Vittorio, was born a year later, but the child is so sickly that he is not expected to see his third birthday.
Now, rumor has it that King Cosimo is in the process of seeking suitors for his own eldest daughter, Princess Maria. Even at nine years old, she has already turned many heads within the royal court. It is likely that her father will try to marry her off to a nobleman of Dahl, since the country is an economic powerhouse and the alliance would surely strengthen Revelian trading ties and prevent any future hostilities towards Revelia.
I think interacting with other players and the map idea would both be a lot of fun.
