I really like both but I've never heard of that pronunciation for Evan. I've only heard EH-van. Am I misunderstanding what you've typed?

Hello Elena (love your name BTW) yeah I meant Eh van. It is just as it's start to be famous un france but I am in UK I don't know how to pronunce the french "é" sound as it doesn't exist in english.

Thanks, Christelle.My husband's grandfather's mn was Evan (Boyd Evan). Several of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren have used Evan as a mn as well which I think is a shame because it's such a nice name. Somebody needs to use Evan as a fn in this family. ;-)
