~Because of his strange behavior Armel Proinsias has earned the title of the Suspicious One.
~Flaithri Hugh along with the whole country looks forward to having a Gormlaith in Marbois!
~Orlagh Maighread married Tomas O'Gofraidh who's family has held the title of Iarthlaith of Armfoot County for years and who is also currently holding the title Tighearnach of Yalesbad for a nephew until he comes of age. ~Titles~
Marbois is divided into 25 counties (two of which are Armfoot and Yalesbad), each county is governed by a Duke, each Duke has 1 Count and 1 Viscount in his employment and each Count and Viscount has 2 Knights and 2 Barons in his employment.
Each Duke, Count and Viscount has a small estate of his own and will pass his title onto his family. Each Knight and Baron are military men elected/appointed every seven years by the county as protectors.I've worked out the other titles, each is a name, sorry it took me so long! I'll use the format of: The Illustrious/Distinguished/Noble [names, LN], [title] of [county name] Duke/Duchess = The Illustrious Tuathal / Tuilelaith
Count/Countess = The Distinguished Iarthlaith / Muadhnait
Vicount / Vicountess = The Distinguished Tighearnach / Beibhinn
Knight and his lady = The Noble Cathair / Padraigin (serves in the army)
Baron and his lady = The Noble Fearghal / Mor (serves in the navy) ~Also in the king's court~ (all servants are addressed by their FNs or LNs)
King's Spiritual Adviser = The Illustrious Mainchin (honorary title, freedom of religion has been practiced in Marbois for the past several years)
Leader of the Army = The Noble Cathal & his lady Ragnailt (reports directly to the king)
Leader of the Navy = The Noble Murchadh & his lady Murdag (reports directly to the king)
