[Opinions] Hollyne
I know someone who has a friend named Hollyne. I was wondering what your opinion was on the name?I don't know if it's the person's background or what, but it looks a lot like a kre8iv form of Holly + Lynne. I personally don't like it at all.

I prefer Holly.

Like... Holland without the 'd'?

With one 'n', it looks like it should be pronounced HAH-line or HOE-line. Not attractive at all.

Bleh! I don't like it at all. I'm guessing it's pronounced HOL-in? The spelling just looks so strange. Hollin or Holland I could deal with, Hollyne just doesn't cut it for me.

It looks like a misspelling of Ha-leen to me. I know a girl named Halin, pronounced the same way I just mentioned. Of course, thanks to the lack of intelligence in the INS department, she's had several different spellings attached to her name. I believe they finally settled on that one.*edit* I believe hers is a variant of Halina, actually.

Kind of strange, reminds me of Holland without the 'D' sound. I think Holly or Hollis would be nicer.
