My boyfriend adores Russian names. So I was wondering, what are your favorite Russian names? I am trying to find something he'll like that I like. :) Any suggestions?

I love Nadya and Anastasia on girls and Pavel, Ivan, and Vitas on boys. I heard Vitas yesterday and decided I loved it.

My few very favorites--like the ones that I know are my favorites without searching through the Russian names and just seeing which ones strike my fancy--are:Miroslava
Polina
BogdanaAnd probably any other name with a -mira or -slava ending. Don't know why, but I tend to really like those. Not as big on the male -mir or -slav equivalents, though, for whatever reason. Miron
Boris
Pavel

Anastasia
Olga (too ugly for a lot of people)
Nadezhda
Dimitri
Aleksander "Sasha"
Pavel "Pasha"
I'm sure there are more, but I can't think of them. I also love a lot of diminutives like Anushka, Nadya, Anya etc. ETA: http://www.behindthename.com/nmc/rus.php You're bound to find something amongst that, good luck! :)
